PM KISAN Yojana is one of the schemes implemented by the Central Government to the State Government. Under this scheme, farmers are provided financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 per annum. The money is paid in three installments (Rs. 2,000).
The Union Government has issued an update on the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana (PM KISAN Yojana). According to the update, all beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana scheme are required to obtain E-KYC of their PM KISAN accounts. Without E-Kyc, beneficiaries of PM KISAN Yojana will be deprived of the 12th installment.
The government has issued new guidelines on the PM KISAN Yojana. According to it, a farmer with two hectares or less of agricultural land will be eligible for the scheme. However, despite this, if the KYC is not updated, the 12th installment will not be paid.
Every four months, Rs. 2,000 is transferred to the farmers’ bank accounts by the government. This means that farmers get Rs. 6,000 per annum. Some people have taken advantage of the scheme incorrectly but they are not eligible. Action has already been initiated.
