Orunodoi Scheme Assam 2022
Arunodoi Scheme was announced by the Health Minister of Assam Mr Himanta Biswa Sarma on 12th August 2020. According to the budgetary of 2800 crore, around seventeen lakhs families get 830 INR per month, distributed by the Assam government, to support the poor families, whose income is less than two lakhs per annum. At present its value has been increase to Rs 1000.
About 20 lakh people are covered under the Orunodoi Scheme Assam 2022 and the objective is to increase the number of households covered under the Nearly Orunodoi Scheme to 24 lakh sequenchlater. Every year state government has required 2400 Cr.
The benefit of this scheme will be given to the families of the state whose annual income is less then 200000 ( two lakh). It will instil a sense of confidence amongst women of the state and encourage women empowerment.
