Ayushman Bharat scheme was launched by the central government on 25 September 2018 on the occasion of the birthday of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. In india bottom 40% of the country’s poor and vulnerable population were included in the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, people are registered, whose work is done through the Common Service Center, people can go to the Common Service Center and get Ayushman Bharat registered.
The main objective of signing this agreement was to join the national scheme of providing health insurance of Rs 5 lakh among the people of the state. There are 27 lakh beneficiary families in Assam under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
There will be an Ayushman Mitra helpdesk in the hospital itself. You will also have to carry your Golden Card along with your address proof like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Ration Card etc.
The government has taken the facility of Ayushman Bharat Golden Card for the poor and vulnerable income groups of the country such as daily wage laborers, homeless, destitute, charity or begging, tribal (SC / ST) or people legally freed from bonded labor.
